“The ultimate aim of the institute is to develop a sound infrastructure for knowledge
management to be utilised by planners and policy makers of the state. CIMP would
be way ahead of IIMs in next two years. Students of CIMP would be socially
responsible. Talented students will be offered a good platform.”

UNESCO
United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), is working
for creation of a knowledge society for ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth
in the country. Both UNESCO and CIMP have agreed to work towards creating a knowledge
society through action research, capacity building and organising seminars and conferences
on topics relevant to growth and development of the region with special emphasis
on Bihar. The parties have further agreed to work together in planning, developing and organising
a series of operational and awareness programmes to prepare the society to adapt to
the changing climatic conditions.
The Institute in collaboration with UNESCO will organize an International Workshop
shortly.

The institute has also signed an MOU with Bankers Institute of Rural Development, an institution sponsored by National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD), Lucknow with a view to develop
a micro-finance resource centre in
eastern India by bringing all micro-financing agencies of the state to a common
