CIMP has set a new paradigm for transforming students. Keeping this in mind, the institute has organized conferences, and seminars, which are of critical relevance for future development of the students.CIMP is initiating international level research into Micro-Finance, Rural Marketing, IT Enterprises Management. A complete residential institute, CIMP takes an uncompromising stance on not letting anything come in its way of fostering excellence and setting new high standards.

Summer Internship

CIMP has been setup with an exclusive agenda to be a Centre of Excellence in Management Education and Research. It is one of its kinds in the state of Bihar.

As with most PGDBA programmes, in the last trimester of the first year, the students are required to undergo summer internship with the Corporate, which is for the purpose of getting a hands on experience of an organisation. Students placed with esteemed organisation for summer internship would go a long way to the functioning of a forward looking, professional organisation as also help them appreciate the complexities of modern day managerial functions.

The first batch of PGDBA students of 2008-10 have been placed successfully in different MNC's for their summer project. 20% of students have got lateral placements in Amul and NDDB which is virtually a guarantee of permanent placement after a year. The Director, Dr. V. Mukunda Das said that it is a big stride for the Institute. Summer Placements are as important as permanent placements.

International Exchange Programme

PGDBA curriculum endows the students with the skills and competencies to become successfull managers in the global market. The courses at CIMP expose the students to global managerial realities. Students will be able to go to foreign universities on exchange programmes. Academic colloborations with universities of USA/Canada, UK and Australia (Canberra) are being initiated so that students here can go to foreign universities to pursue their studies and students from outside Bihar can come and complete their research.
