The institute follows to the extent possible, all practices, systems and processes of the IIMs. CIMP’s course curriculum and pedagogy are shaped on the lines of IIMs. The courses are developed with committees consisting of reputed faculty from IIMs, and teaching materials used in the courses are sourced from the best in the world viz; Harvard Business School, IIMA and other leading national and international B-schools.

The governance structure and model of CIMP is based on those of IIMs. Faculty recruitment process too is similar to the one followed by IIMs and other leading national institutes. Faculty from IIMs are involved in faculty selection procedure, and the institute also invites visiting professors from these leading institutes.
